VFW Post 2485 Children's Operation Program

If a picture speaks a thousand words take a look at these smiles

During the 2009-2010 year ending 30 June 2010 the Post put a smile on the faces of 19 children at a cost of $7,150.00. 

Over the past year substantial donations were received from the Klenk Foundation; Lee Cobb and his shipmates from the Honolulu chapter of the Fleet Reserve Association; Dave Rowe and his band of angels from the Grace McWayne School of Batavia, Illinois; William Flores; Lance Taylor; Dennis Carlton; James Benedetto; Jim Malott; Bill Kurz; Ed Perdew; Jack Dietz; Dave Dougherty; Rick Nelson; and Mike Wilcox. 

Special thanks to Bill Grubbs, Mike Sculley and all the members and friends who supported this program over the years. You made a difference in the lives of over 1250 children benefiting from this program since its inception in 1988.
